Clowbridge 5k - Spring 1/3

Clowbridge 5k is a trail race held around Clowbridge Reservoir on a two-lap anti-clockwise route that starts and finishes at Rossendale Valley Sailing Club, Manchester Road, Burnley, BB11 5PF. The course follows a popular path off the Pennine Bridleway and covers 5 km with about 25 m of elevation.

The event is open to runners aged 11 and over. It forms the first race of a three-race spring series taking place on Thursdays 16, 23 and 30 April 2026. Entries for the event were open from 1 January 2026 and closed on 15 April 2026; the advertised entry fee was £6.50.

Races are marshalled and awards are given in each race. Organiser RunJMC operates the event under ARC pending licensing. Participants are asked to park sensibly, with the lower car park at the sailing club and Limey Lane suggested for parking at the far end of the reservoir. Monies from the series are to be donated to local causes.
