Blackstone Edge Fell Race is a category AS fell race and a counter in the 2026 English Fell Running Championships. The route covers 5.6 km with 366 m of climb. The course visits the Blackstone Edge trig point and includes sections on the Pennine Way and a Roman Old Road, with boggy and tussocky ground in places.

Event details

Date: Saturday 18 April 2026. Venue: Knowl Farm, Lydgate Hamlet, Blackstone Edge Old Road, Littleborough, OL15 0LL, Lancashire. Minimum age is 16 years. The race is part of the Todmorden Harriers Summer Series and is run to FRA category and kit rules.

Entry is by pre-entry only via SI Entries. Entry fees listed are £10 for FRA members and £12 for non-members. The event has a participant limit of 400 and will operate a waiting list if full. No junior races are held. Teams are allowed under FRA Championship criteria.

The event holds a permit and associated UK Athletics insurance through the FRA. Refreshments including cakes, tea and coffee are available on site.
