Thoresby Park - The Longhorn Trail Event takes place on 18 April 2026 at Thoresby Park, Newark (NG22 9EP). The estate covers over 1,000 acres and includes a 17th-century mansion, an art collection, wild deer, and long-horned cattle. The terrain is described as fairly flat; route maps are available for the 5km, 10km and half marathon, while the 2km route is to be confirmed.

Cani-cross is allowed on all distances except the 2 km family run. Runners may run with up to two controlled dogs and canicross participants have a separate start. Nordic walkers are welcome on any distance. Live chip timing will be provided by Timing Up North. All finishers receive Wild Deer merchandise, an event medal, and a snack. Registration opens 30/04/2025 and closes 15/04/2026. On-site parking is available for £3 per vehicle.
