A historic, short fell race on 12 August 2026 organised by Goyt Valley Striders from Buxworth Memorial Club. The loop is 3.4 miles with 275 m of ascent and entries often sell out.

A 4.4 km fell race from the Ragleth Inn in Little Stretton with 390 m of ascent, a clockwise course with three control points, on-the-day or pre-entry and junior up and down Callow Hill races; some proceeds go to charity.

An organised 7.3 km route around Darley Dale featuring forest trails, long climbs and technical descents, finishing across a field after a steep final ascent to Oker Trig Point.

A challenging fell race in the Peak District featuring 370m of climb over a 6km course. Entry is on the day at Cartworth Moor Cricket Club near Holmfirth. The route is well marked and marshalled for a classic short fell running experience.

A relaunch of the village fell race in Flagg, Peak District, featuring a mainly off-road 5.5 miles route through fields, lanes and country roads. The course returns with a steady one and a half mile downhill back to the village.

Two trail ultramarathon options follow the Harborough Round around Market Harborough, with GPX files, multiple aid stations, TRA licensing and a comprehensive mandatory kit list for runners.

A guided 10 km trail run through the Chiltern Hills followed by a brewery tour and tasting at Tring Brewery. Groups are split by ability and participants should be able to run 5 km without stopping.

Special-edition Rat Race obstacle event at Forest Facility near Stamford, featuring a 4 mile loop with about 60 obstacles, family and teen options, and additional on-site activities. Proceeds support Project Jungle rainforest conservation.

A 10 km circular trail around Piethorne and Ogden reservoirs on 16 August 2026, using bridleways with an out and back to Hollingworth Lake. The course includes about 275 m of ascent and several twists and turns.

A fell race in Crowden on 16 August 2026 following the Pennine Way to Black Hill and Soldiers Lump. Online and on-the-day entry options are available, minimum age 18, limited parking and a GPX route is provided.

The Malvern Joggers 10K will take place in Malvern Wells on Sunday 16 August 2026. You can run between 5 and 10 kilometers.

An approximate 5 mile undulating trail near Treeton Cricket & Football Pavilion organised by Rotherham Running Club on 18 August 2026, marshalled and with post-run refreshments. Entries open 1 June to 16 August; minimum age 16.

A self navigated trail event around Edale in the Peak District with ultra, marathon, half and 10 mile options. Routes use rough paths, rocky descents and a waterfall and include long self supported sections between checkpoints.

Trail half marathon and 10k around Carsington Water on 22 August 2026, run on marked trail paths with marshals and an event village. GPX files are available for both courses.

A lapped towpath event on the Leeds/Liverpool Canal offering five distances, on-course feed stations, marshals and finisher food and medals in Kirkstall, Leeds.

Timed laps around a flat 5.3 km out and back course on the River Mersey in Chorlton Water Park. This final race in a 2026 Summer Series supports The Animal Sanctuary Wilmslow and includes a bespoke finisher's medal.

Trail races at Wendover Woods feature a half marathon, 10k, 5k and junior race across steep woodland with 181 m of climb. Entries include a themed medal, free photos, chip timing and post race goodies.

A chip-timed, fully signposted circular fell race of 30 km on footpaths, bridleways and roads around Belper on 23 August 2026. The route includes Roman roads, ancient woodland and sections of the Midshires Way.

A single-lap, multi-terrain trail race of about 7 miles through Adel Woods, Scotland Woods and Meanwood Park in Leeds, organised by Valley Striders AC with on-site facilities, age-group prizes and fundraising for St Gemma’s Hospice.

A trail half marathon from Creasey Park across the Dunstable Downs, run mainly on footpaths and bridleways. The self navigated course includes checkpoints and guide runners, a GPX file, on course drink stations and event facilities.
