Meanwood Valley Trail Race 2026
The Meanwood Valley Trail Race, organised by Valley Striders AC, is a single-lap, multi-terrain event covering approximately 7 miles through Adel Woods, Scotland Woods and Meanwood Park in Alwoodley and Meanwood, Leeds. The course is undulating and passes local landmarks including one of the "Seven Arches", the feature known as the "Slabbering Baby" and a tunnel under the Leeds Outer Ring Road.
Race headquarters are at Old Leo's Rugby Club, Crag Lane, Leeds LS17 5PR. Facilities listed for competitors include water, toilets, changing rooms, showers and baggage storage. Refreshments are available at Leo's after the race. Trail or fell shoes are strongly recommended. The event is not suitable for wheelchairs.
Standard entry fees are shown as £18 for affiliated club members and £20 for unaffiliated entrants. Entries close on Saturday 22nd August; on-the-day entry is available at a higher fee if places remain. Event entries are limited to 450 runners.
Prizes are awarded to the first three finishers male and female and in male and female age groups from 40 through 75+. Results are based on chip times.
