Course and event details

Both races follow trail paths around Carsington Water on an undulating route. The half marathon is an out-and-back route plus one full loop of the reservoir. The 10k covers almost one full loop of the reservoir. GPX files are available for both courses. Each kilometre is marked with distance flags and marshals will be positioned around the course.

The event includes an event village with food and drink options and free items from event partners at the finish. A race t-shirt with the event logo is available at a discounted price when purchased as part of entry, supplied via partner RT Kit. The organiser notes work on sustainability for RunThrough events. Enjoy a scenic two day January Half Marathon and 10k on the traffic free Tissington Trail between Ashbourne and Buxton, with gentle climbs out and easy returns. Choose one day or both and earn a bespoke medal and free photos.
