Crowden Horseshoe Fell Race

Crowden Horseshoe is a fell race that starts and finishes in Crowden. The route follows the scenic Pennine Way via Laddow Rocks to the summit of Black Hill (Soldiers Lump trig point), before descending along the old Pennine Way via Toolyshaw. The course details are available via a GPX file on the organizers’ site.

Online entry is £8 plus £1 booking; on-the-day entry is £10. Minimum age is 18. The event holds a Permit with UK Athletics insurance from the FRA.
