INFERNO - Edale's Ring of Hell is a trail race day at Edale Village Hall, S33 7ZA, on 22 August 2026. Races start in Edale, about a five minute walk from the local train station, and proceed onto upland paths including a steep ascent up Ringing Roger. The courses use sheep tracks, muddy paths, rocky descents and include a climb by a waterfall. The event is self-navigated; GPX files and a marked map are provided for download and social recces are organised before the event.

All participants must carry compulsory kit; a kit list is provided by the organiser. Checkpoints are stocked with Mountain Fuel gels and a variety of food including vegan options, and fizzy drinks are available. Ultra and marathon entrants will carry trackers for safety. Finishers receive a medal. The event includes insurance, experienced sweepers, a first aid trained race director, and donations to local mountain rescue, the National Trust and Peak District National Park.
