Join Gecko Gathering at Harlyn Beach on 19 July 2026 for scenic coastal routes between Harlyn and Padstow, with 10.5 km and half marathon options. Enjoy personalised bibs, medals, free photos and support Padstow Rowing Club.

Take on the Selworthy Beacon Fell Race on Sun 19 Jul 2026, a punchy 6.2 km with 305 m of climb from Bossington National Trust car park. Pre entry or day entry available for a classic short fell test with stunning coastal views.

Tywardreath Trotter on Saturday 25 July 2026 offers a hilly 7 mile multi terrain race and a 1 mile fun run from the New Inn. Run scenic trails, finish at the pub and support local charities in a lively village evening.

Run a scenic 50 km loop from Dunster along the South West Coast Path across Exmoor with about 1600 m climb, or choose shorter loops and a family 10K around Dunster Castle. Camping and robust on course support make this a top summer ultra.

August 2026

Take on Dartmoor in The Crossing 33.5 mile or the Great Escape 15.5 mile, both finishing at Ivybridge Rugby Club. Fully marked and marshalled routes with aid stations, on site camping and a bar for post race drinks.

Join the Totnes 10K on Sunday 2 August 2026 for a scenic off road run alongside the River Dart, starting and finishing in Borough Park. Expect a fun 1 mile family run, bespoke medals and a lively village atmosphere.

Tackle the Mendip Marauder on 8 August 2026, a rugged trail challenge offering 30 mile and 50 mile routes across woodlands, hilltops and classic Mendip landmarks. Both distances finish on Uphill Sands Beach in Weston Super Mare for a glorio..

Tackle the Sticklepath Horseshoe a 15.5 km fell race over rugged moorland with 519 m climb. Pre entry is limited so book early. Bring map compass and solid navigation skills as this event is not suitable for beginners.

Join the Crook Peak Cake Race in Axbridge on Wed 19 Aug 2026 for a spirited 3 mile fell challenge across stunning Somerset hills, finishing with cake and community cheer. On the day entry available for runners aged 14 and up.

Join the Gt. Links Tor Flyer on Dartmoor for a challenging 7.5 km fell race with 388 m of climb, finishing at the Fox & Hounds in Lydford. Open to seniors and juniors with pre and on the day entry.

Join Gecko Gathering at Scorrier House on 23 August 2026 for scenic trail and field routes from 2.5 km up to a half marathon and a 5 hour endurance challenge. Expect medals, a lively event village with music, food and family fun.

Take a scenic single lap around Wimbleball Lake on varied off road trails with a short tarmac crossing, choosing 5K or 10K. Part of the Wimbleball sports festival with canicross entries, chip timing and finisher medals.

Enjoy an early evening trail run at Newnham Park on Friday 28 August 2026, with 8 and 4 mile looped courses set on estate trails. Canicross runners are welcome and proceeds support the work of Bowel Cancer West.

Run point to point along the Cambrian Way into Cardiff with two scenic trail ultra options, 44 miles from Llanthony Priory or 33 miles from Abergavenny. Expect rugged fells, woodlands and a dramatic finish near Castell Coch.

Steam Challenge on Sunday 30 August 2026 is a timed out and back race along an old train line near Bridestowe with a seven hour limit and medals for finishers. Enjoy undulating off road and paved terrain.
