The South Hams Ultra
Kingsbridge, United Kingdom • 11 Oct 2025
The South Hams Ultra is an endurance challenge in Devon, offering 105-mile and 56-mile options. The course circumnavigates the South Hams in a clockwise loop, largely along the South Hams Way, starting at Mount Folly Farm campsite in Bigbury. Runners pass the Erme estuary and Flete Estate, then traverse Ivybridge, South Brent, Dartmoor trails, the Dart Valley, and the SW Coast Path toward Salcombe, joining the ferry to East Portlemouth before returning to finish in Aveton Gifford (105 miles) or Totnes (56 miles). A prepaid ferry crossing is deducted from finishing time. The event features GPS trackers, a marshalled course, first aid, medals, bag drop, and six feed stations.
