Tactical Endurance at Perranporth

The Cut - LIMINAL is an endurance event held on Saturday 24th October 2026 in Cornwall. Based at the Perranporth Surf Life Saving Club, the course utilizes the local coastline, dunes, and surrounding terrain. Participants face varied conditions including sand, undulating coastal paths, and shifting ground.

The format consists of a 12-hour plus one final round structure. Each round begins on the hour, with runners completing a loop that stays within a distance limit of 3 to 4 miles. A unique aspect of this event is that the required time to complete each loop is not disclosed until the round begins. Participants who fail to meet the specific time requirement for any round are removed from the event.

If multiple participants successfully complete all 12 rounds, the event moves into a final hour. This concluding stage is a head-to-head format to determine a single male and single female winner.

Mandatory equipment for all participants includes:

• Trail or off-road running footwear
• High-visibility vest or outer layer
• Head torch and rear red light
• Fully charged mobile phone
• Personal hydration system

The organizers recommend that participants are capable of running three miles in 24 minutes or under on undulating terrain. Support crews are permitted to assist runners during the event.
