Somerset Not Levels 50

Somerset Not Levels 50 is an LDWA members only long-distance event of about 50 miles organised around two loops that both start and finish at Crowcombe Village Hall (Crowcombe Hall, TA4 4AQ). One loop heads towards the Brendon Hills and the other traverses the Quantocks, with the route described as showcasing West Somerset in its autumn colours.

Entry to the event is managed through a pre-selection list. Entrants join the pre-selection without payment; if offered a place they are then invited to complete payment to confirm entry. Entries open 1 April 2026 and close 30 September 2026. Entry fees are listed as £45 for LDWA members and £65 for non-members.

Participants must be 18 or older and must have completed at least one 30 mile, one day event within 12 months of the event date. A live tracker is mandatory for all participants and mandatory kit items are specified in the event rules. Organisers will perform kit checks on the route and lack of required kit may lead to disqualification. Checkpoint opening and closing times will be enforced.

Parking at the venue is limited and lift sharing is requested where possible. Full route description and GPX files will be provided for download two weeks before the event. The event is organised by LDWA Cornwall and Devon. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
