Somerset Not Levels 50 : Crowcombe, Somerset, 10–11 October 2026

Somerset Not Levels is a long-distance LDWA event held over the weekend of 10 to 11 October 2026, based at Crowcombe Village Hall. The route comprises two loops that both start and finish at Crowcombe; one loop heads toward the Brendon Hills and the other travels onto the Quantocks, showcasing West Somerset in its autumn colours. The course distance is around 50 miles with total ascent of about 8,000 ft and includes more remote trails and reduced daylight typical of an autumn event.

Entry is restricted to LDWA members who are 18 years or older. As an entry requirement, participants must have completed at least one 30 mile, one-day event within the 12 months prior to the event date. A live tracker is mandatory throughout the event for safety. A specified kit list is compulsory; entrants sign a declaration at registration and there will be kit checks on the route. Failure to carry all listed items may result in disqualification.

The event uses a pre-selection list to allocate places; pre-selection entry does not require immediate payment and an invitation to pay will be sent if a place can be offered. Full route descriptions and GPX files will be provided for download two weeks before the event. Parking is limited and entrants are asked to consider lift sharing. The entry fee for LDWA members is £45. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
