Somerset Not Levels 50

Somerset Not Levels 50 is a 50-mile LDWA members-only event held over two days in October 2026. The route is made up of two loops that both start and finish at Crowcombe Village Hall. One loop heads toward the Brendon Hills and the other goes onto the Quantocks, featuring West Somerset in autumn colours.

Entry is allocated using pre-selection lists; places are offered from that list and payment confirms an offered place. Entries open 1 April 2026 and close 30 September 2026. The entry fee for LDWA members is £45. A small waiting list for members is in operation because the event has reached capacity.

Participants must be 18 or older and must have completed at least one 30-mile, one-day event within 12 months of the event date. Checkpoint opening and closing times will be strictly enforced. One start group has a maximum permitted pace of 4 miles per hour, so entrants should select an appropriate start group for their expected speed.

Mandatory kit is listed in the event rules and a declaration is required at registration; kit checks will take place on route and lack of required items will result in disqualification. A live tracker must be worn throughout the event. Parking is limited and lift sharing is requested. Full route description and GPX will be made available for download two weeks before the event. XCover option is available for possible refunds. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
