Somerset Not Levels 50

This event is an LDWA members only long-distance walk covering about 50 miles over two loops that both start and finish at Crowcombe Village Hall. One loop runs toward the Brendon Hills and the other traverses the Quantocks, passing through West Somerset countryside in autumn colours.

The route uses more remote trails, has reduced daylight conditions and includes significant ascent of around 8000 ft. Participants must be 18 or older and must have completed a one-day event of at least 30 miles within 12 months of the event date. A live tracker is mandatory for safety and will be required to be worn throughout the event.

Mandatory kit is specified in the event rules and a kit declaration must be signed at registration. Kit checks will take place on the route and failure to carry all required items may result in disqualification. Checkpoint opening and closing times will be strictly enforced.

Parking at the venue is limited. A full route description and GPX file will be provided for download two weeks before the event. The organisers also operate a small waiting list for members where capacity has been reached. The event aims to provide a local qualifying opportunity for the LDWA Jurassic Hundred 2027.
