About the race
The Sibelco Templer Ten is a multi terrain 10-mile race that starts and finishes in the grounds of Stover School, Newton Abbot. The route is about 80% off road and passes through Stover Country Park and the fields at Teigngrace.
Distances
- 10 miles multi terrain course on parkland and fields
- 1 mile Fun Run within the Stover School grounds for children
Entries are limited to 325 runners; the event sold out more than a week in advance in 2026. All finishers receive a bespoke medal. Race headquarters at Stover School provides toilets, changing rooms, showers, a baggage store and free parking. There is a PA system, free race photos, hot and cold refreshments including Trotter cakes, and a BBQ.
Prizes are awarded to the first three men and women, overall veteran category winners across multiple age bands, first male and female teams with four to count, and the club with the most entries. The Fun Run offers bespoke medals for finishers and prizes for first male and female in U6, U9, U12 and U15; advance online entry and on the day entry fees are stated for the Fun Run. Children under four must be accompanied by an adult and pushchairs and prams are not permitted. Dogs are not allowed on site.
Number transfers are accepted only on race day at Race HQ via a transfer form and carry an administration charge of £3. The event has sponsors including Sibelco, Francis Clark, Crockers Trophies and Foxy Golf. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
