Duchy an Dinas 5
The Duchy an Dinas 5 is a third annual running event now included in the Cornwall MTRS. The course starts and finishes at the Duchy of Cornwall Nursery in Lostwithiel and passes the English Heritage site of Restormel Castle, where runners complete a loop around the castle. The route is mixed terrain, approximately 90% trail, and includes over 1000 ft of elevation gain. The finish area is at the Woodland Terrace Tepee and the course includes a loop through private woods used only for this event.
Event details include a minimum age of 18 years and a generous two hour cut off. The event is cupless and offers no bag drop. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers and in age categories, with additional spot prizes; all finishers receive a medal. Parking is limited at the venue.
