Quantock Hills Half Marathon : Kilve Court, Somerset
The Quantock Hills Half Marathon is a trail race organised by Prosper Events that takes place on 4 October 2026 at Kilve Court - SSE Outdoors, Kilve, Bridgewater, Somerset, TA5 1EA. The event is run in collaboration with the Quantocks AONB service, Natural England and The National Trust and is listed as a UTMB index event.
The course covers technical trails through forests, quiet country lanes and open moorland, and includes tough climbs and rolling hills. Runners should expect stiles, gates, uneven rugged terrain and stream crossings where stepping stones or log balances might be required. Course support includes plentiful signage, marshals positioned on route and two fully stocked feed stations.
Practical arrangements mentioned by the organiser include camping, van parking and basic bunk houses available over the weekend. On the Saturday evening an Exmoor Pizza pod will be present and there are local pubs nearby; a fire pit may be used if weather allows.
