Quantock Hills Trail Half Marathon : overview
The Quantock Hills Trail Half Marathon takes place at Kilve Court - SSE Outdoors Kilve, Bridgewater, Somerset, TA5 1EA. The next edition is scheduled for 05/10/2025. The event is a half marathon and is listed as a UTMB index event. Organisers worked with the Quantocks AONB service, Natural England and The National Trust in planning the route.
The course runs across trails, climbs and rolling hills, including technical sections through forests, quiet country lanes and open moorland. Runners should expect stiles and gates, uneven rugged terrain and stream crossings where stepping stones or log balances may be involved. There will be marshals on the course, plentiful signage and two fully stocked feed stations.
Facilities and awards
Awards are given to the top three male and top three female finishers. All finishers receive a medal.
Event weekend facilities include camping, van parking and basic bunk houses. A pizza vendor (Exmoor Pizza pod) is present on the Saturday evening and there are local pubs nearby. A fire pit may be used if weather conditions allow. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
