Quantock Hills Half Marathon

The Quantock Hills Half Marathon is a trail race organised by Prosper Events and scheduled for 4 October 2026 at Kilve Court - SSE Outdoors, Kilve, Bridgewater, Somerset, TA5 1EA. Entry is listed at £32.50 and the event is open to entrants aged 18 and over on the event date.

The route runs through the Quantock Hills and includes technical trails, climbs, rolling hills, forests, quiet country lanes and open moorland. Along the course runners can expect stiles, gates, uneven rugged terrain and stream crossings where stepping stones or log balances may be involved. The event is a UTMB index race.

Course support includes marshals, plentiful signage and two fully stocked feed stations. Awards are given to the top three male and top three female finishers, and all finishers receive a medal.

Weekend facilities and on site services are available. Options listed include camping, van parking and basic bunk houses. A pizza vendor is noted for the Saturday evening and there are local pubs nearby; a large fire pit may be used if the weather allows. Multi-distance trail event in Dalwood, Axminster on 15 February 2026 with 10 mile, 5 km and 3 km routes across muddy, hilly countryside. Village Hall is race HQ with parking, toilets and on-site medical support.

Run a scenic 70k along the Taff Trail from the Brecon Beacons to Nantgarw, passing reservoirs, waterfalls and historic sites. The event includes coach transfer to the start, checkpoints, timing and a finisher medal.

Tackle a rugged 75 km mountain ultramarathon from Brecon to Cardiff, summiting Pen y Fan, Cribyn and Fan y Big over wild ridges and forests. A 26.2 mile Taff Xtreme option covers the second half; both are unmarked and GPS navigated.

Trail races at Escot Park offering a half marathon and a slightly over 10K, with canicross options. Off-road course features short climbs, chip timing and medals for all finishers.
