Dartmoor Granite 50

Scorriton, United Kingdom • 3 Oct 2026

Event overview

OuterEdge Events is staging two linked trail races on the Dartmoor Way walking route: the Dartmoor Full Circle 100 and the Dartmoor Granite 50. Distances offered include:

  • 100 (race named "Full Circle 100"; route details list a finish at 106 miles)
  • 51 miles (Granite 50 follows the eastern section of the Dartmoor Way)

Both events follow waymarked trails around and across Dartmoor National Park and include open moorland, woodland, riverside trails, green lanes and quiet country lanes.

Course, support and entry requirements

The Full Circle 100 circumnavigates the moor and lists six indoor checkpoints at set mileages; the Granite 50 uses the eastern 51-mile section and has three checkpoints plus an additional water stop. The 100-mile route is described as having over 4000 m of ascent; the 50-mile route has over 2000 m of ascent. Both races are fully supported with hot food and refreshments at indoor halls, GPS competitor tracking, GPX route files, professional medical cover, finishers medals and trophies.

Entry standards are enforced: the 50-mile requires a recent trail marathon; the 100-mile requires a recent 50-mile qualifier. Compulsory kit is checked at registration and includes full waterproofs, headtorch with spare batteries, emergency food and fluid capacity, a mobile phone and more. Free parking, changing and shower facilities are provided at the event centre. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
