Trail Running calendar near North Walsham 2026-2027

A Backyard Ultra style 12 hour event at Cadwell Park where runners complete a 6.7 km lap each hour for a potential total of 80.4 km. Categories include solo and pairs plus a six hour non competitive option.

A last person standing backyard ultra at Gosfield School in Essex where runners repeat a 4.167 mile loop each hour until one remains. Onsite camping, showers and a small aid station are available for participants.

A six-hour looped running challenge on an approximate 5.45 km course with 71 m elevation, set inside an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. A single aid station offers real food and finishers receive a medal for completing one lap.

A multi lap Scores Race through Lowestoft's historic highs on 30 August 2026, with senior and junior courses, medals and commemorative t shirts. Christchurch serves as race HQ with limited changing, bag drop and refreshments.

An inaugural off road half marathon through Donyland Woods, Friday Woods and nearby countryside on Sunday 6th September. Entries were handled online and the event is listed as sold out with 26 entrants.

On 12 September 2026 a 50 km ultra follows the Boudicca Way from Diss to Norwich, passing historic Iceni and Roman sites. The route is waymarked, the start is close to Diss train station and the event is limited to 250 places.

Peacock Plod is a multi distance running event set in the private grounds of Hockwold Hall, a former royal residence on the Norfolk Suffolk Cambridgeshire border. Runners follow a 5.3 km loop with distance options from 5k up to an ultra.

A multi-distance out and back run on 19 September 2026 at Suffolk Running Centre, featuring 5k to ultra options, regular aid stations, parking included and bespoke finisher medals.

A coastal trail marathon and half marathon finishing in Morston on mainly off road paths, with limited entries and a donation to the East Anglian Air Ambulance. Timing, checkpoints and first aid are provided along the route.

A 10 km trail race from Aylsham along the Marriott's Way to Reepham Market Place, mostly off road on an old railway line. Five start waves space runners and entry fees support local council community services.

Experience an autumn run through scenic pumpkin fields and farm tracks in Colchester. With 10k, 5k, and 1k distances, this flat off road event features chip timing and a family friendly event village.

Trail running at Billingford Lakes on 27 Sept 2026 using a 5.3 km out-and-back loop on mixed surfaces. Parking and a base-camp aid station are provided; the event is cupless and all finishers receive a bespoke medal.

Run Sandringham on 27 September 2026 features a Half Marathon, 5K and Community Mile around the Sandringham Estate. The event includes chip timing for the Half and 5K, water stations, medical support and on site parking.

A community charity event on Sunday 27 September 2026 near Grantchester offering chip-timed 10k and 3k courses through farmland, medals for all finishers, trophies, and fundraising for Maggie’s and Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust.

A charity 5 mile off road trail race through Cawston Park in Norfolk, chip timed and marshalled, raising funds for Norfolk Lowland Search and Rescue with on site parking and refreshments.

Multi-terrain 10 km and 5 km runs around Thompson, Norfolk, with bespoke medals for all and trophies for top finishers. Proceeds support the Thompson Millennium Green Charitable Trust.
