Grantchester Charity 10k & 3k

The Grantchester Charity Runs stage two chip timed races each year near Grantchester, just outside Cambridge. The event for 2026 is scheduled for Sunday 27 September 2026. Both courses run through farmland adjacent to Grantchester on the Trumpington side and are described as mixed terrain and predominantly flat. There are no road crossings on the courses.

Event services and facilities include onsite registration, a bag drop, plenty of bike parking around the registration area and parking a short walk from the start area. There are on course km markers and clear directional signage. All finishers receive a commemorative medal and there are trophies for race winners; a team competition returns for the 10k. Chip timing results are published soon after the runs and event photos and videos are shared in the days after the races.

Fundraising supports local charities including Maggie’s and Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust with specific 2026 fundraising directed towards the Cambridge Cancer Research Hospital. Merchandise and fundraising options include a special edition recycled run top priced at £18 which includes a donation to partner charities, and event t shirts available through registration priced at £10.50 plus fee. Coach House Health Care offers post run sports massage, physiotherapy, osteopathy and running related podiatry advice on site. A lapped 5.3 km course around Old Warden on Saturday 01 August 2026, with distances from 5 km to ultra, a seven hour time limit and a flexible one hour start window. Entry includes a paid medal option or a lower-cost no-medal choice; places..

A 12 hour multi terrain lap event at Riverside Park, St Neots, held alongside two triathlons as part of a festival. Entries are Solo, Pair or Teams of 3 to 6; awards, medals, family activities and camping are provided.

Point to point trail ultrarun along the Stour Valley Path with 100 km and 50 km options, UTMB Index points, mostly off road and published time limits.

A guided 16k trail run at High Lodge in Thetford Forest with forest facts and practical trail running tips. Runs are led at a conversational pace and groups are matched by ability to help participants enjoy the woodland routes.
