Grantchester Charity Runs

The 2026 Grantchester Charity 10k and 3k take place on Sunday 27 September 2026 at Mill Way, Grantchester, Cambridge. The event is volunteer run and will raise funds for Maggie’s Centre Cambridge and the Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust ACT.

Both courses run through farmland adjacent to Grantchester. The routes are mixed terrain and predominantly flat, with no road crossings. Chip timing is used for all participants. Every finisher receives a commemorative medal and trophies are awarded to race winners. A 10k team competition is included.

Support and services on site include registration with bag drop, parking at the Grantchester Village Charity Car Park on the road to Trumpington, and bike parking near the registration area. Post run treatments such as sports massage, physiotherapy and osteopathy will be available from a local clinic, and there will be food and drink on site including a coffee van and an ice cream van. T shirts are offered for purchase with proceeds to the designated charities.

There is a special family offer for an accompanied under 12 on the 3k at a reduced registration price. Race results and event photos are published after the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
