Grantchester Charity 10k & 3k

The Grantchester Charity Runs are set for Sunday, September 27th, 2026. The event offers two measured distances that pass through farmland adjacent to Grantchester, just outside Cambridge. Both courses follow mixed terrain and are described as predominantly flat. There are no road crossings on either course. Chip timing is used for all runners.

Facilities and services on site include a registration area with bag drop, parking a short walk from the start area, and bike parking near registration. Post‑run provisions noted for the event include refreshments provided by a local caterer, an ice cream van, and on‑site sports therapy and running related podiatry consultations provided by Coach House Health Care. Every finisher in both distances receives a commemorative medal and trophies are awarded for winners; a team competition for the 10k is included. Event T shirts are available for purchase with proceeds going to Maggie’s and Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust.

Fundraising at the event supports Maggie’s centre in Cambridge and Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust, with this year’s ACT fundraising designated for the Cambridge Cancer Research Hospital. Media and local sponsors are listed as supporters of the runs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
