The Lucky Horseshoe is a multi-distance trail race held on Saturday, 19 September 2026 at Suffolk Running Centre, Church Road, Bury St Edmunds, IP29 5AX. Distances offered include:

Entries are open to runners aged 18 and over. Maximum number of entrants is 300. Entries close on 18/09/2026. Transfer of entries closes on 12/09/2026. The event offers different entry prices by affiliation and a choice of a bespoke finisher medal or a lucky-dip medal from previous events.

Course and facilities

The route is out-and-back. The marathon is one full out-and-back loop; other distances use turnaround points. The course uses parts of the Gallops and Golding Hills routes and passes toward Newmarket and the Gallops area. Aid stations with drinks and nibbles are provided approximately every 10 km. The Race HQ or base camp is located at the start and lap point and includes a water/aid station. Parking is included with entry.
