Course and facilities

The route is an out-and-back layout. The marathon is one full out-and-back loop; other distances use turnaround points. All routes use the Gallops Route, with a turn point for distances shorter than the Ultra. The Ultra follows the full marathon out-and-back and then continues back out to the 5k or 10k turn. Runners going beyond the half marathon travel through to Newmarket and the Gallops, where race horses may be seen in training.
Aid stations with drinks and nibbles are provided approximately every 10 km. The Base Camp will host water and aid supplies. The event is cupless, so participants need to bring their own bottles or cups for refilling. Finishers receive a bespoke medal; a lucky-dip finisher option may be available, offering a selection of previous finisher medals. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
