Colchester, United Kingdom • 14 Sep 2025

The Roman River Trails event offers participants the choice of a half marathon or marathon, featuring self-navigation routes through the picturesque Roman River valley near Colchester. The predominantly hard-packed trail includes sections of tarmac and grass, with several river crossings and some hills. The event promotes sustainability by being cupless, requiring runners to bring their own drinking receptacles.

Aid stations will be available at approximately 10km intervals, stocked with various refreshments. Participants can opt for a reduced entry fee by forgoing a medal. All finishers will receive a goody bag, and those who choose to can earn a bespoke medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
