Run Sandringham

Run Sandringham is a series of races held on the Sandringham Royal Estate in Norfolk in 2026. The events use a route that passes around the estate grounds and immediately in front of Sandringham House. The course surface is a mix of trails and closed roads that are traffic free, and the route is marshalled and clearly signposted.

Distances and formats in 2026 include:

  • Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
  • 10K
  • 5K
  • Community Mile
  • Sandringham24: a 5 mile loop for solo, pair, or team efforts over 24 hours

Chip timing is used for the Half Marathon and the 5K. Runners receive a bespoke medal and finish goodies, and trophies are awarded to the top three male and female finishers and first in each age category. Age limits are specified: Community Mile from 4 years with under 11s accompanied by an adult, 5K minimum age 12, Half Marathon minimum age 17.

The event provides at least four water stations and promotes a sustainable plastic free approach with refill points. Medical teams will be on site. Pets, wheelchairs, and prams are not permitted on the race routes. In ear headphones are banned while bone conducting headphones are permitted provided marshal instructions remain audible. Entries are non refundable but transfers are available until 13 September 2026. Ample parking is available at the estate with a premium parking option in the event village.
