Letting Off Steam

Letting Off Steam is a community road and trail event held at Whitwell and Reepham Railway Station. Runners follow routes along the Marriott's Way and nearby local footpaths, with a choice of two distances.

5 km suitable for all ages (under 11's must be accompanied by an adult)
10 km suitable for over 15 years only

A medal is awarded to every finisher. The event raises funds for Keeping Abreast Breast Cancer Reconstruction Support Charity (charity no. 1129522). Refreshments are available on site and donations are welcome. Car parking is available all day for £2, with proceeds donated to Whitwell and Reepham Preservation Society.

The event is licensed by the Association of Running Clubs and is held under UK Athletics Rules, permit number ARC 26/0143. To reduce costs and increase the amount donated to charity, the races are not timed.
