Boghopper Races - Letting Off Steam

Boghopper Races presents a summer trail event with a choice of a 5km or 10km route starting from Whitwell and Reepham Railway Station and following the Marriott's Way and nearby footpaths. The event is organised in support of Keeping Abreast, Breast Cancer Reconstruction Support Charity (charity no. 1129522), with fundraising and donations welcomed.

• 5km suitable for all ages; under 11s must be accompanied by an adult.
• 10km suitable for over 15 years only.

Every finisher receives a medal. Refreshments will be available during the event. Car parking is offered all day for £2, with that amount donated to Whitwell and Reepham Preservation Society. To reduce event costs and increase the charitable contribution, the races are not timed.

The event is licensed by the Association of Running Clubs and held under UK Athletics Rules, permit number ARC 26/0143. Entry terms note that entries are non-refundable and cannot be deferred; transfers to another runner are permitted until midnight on 15/08/2026.
