The 2026 Summer Boudicca Way 50km Ultra is a 50 km point-to-point ultramarathon on Saturday 12 September 2026. The route follows the Boudicca Way long distance path from Diss to Trowse, Norwich, and passes through Pulham Market, Fritton, Saxlingham, Stoke Holy Cross and Caistor St. Edmund. The event starts in Diss (Hope Church) and finishes in Trowse, Norwich. Runners and walkers are welcome. Railway stations are a short walk from the start and finish.

Practical details

The race is limited to 250 participants and the minimum age on race day is 20 years. Entries open 21 July 2025 and close 29 August 2026; there were 25 participants listed at the time of this notice. Entry fees are £65 for UKA members and £67 for non-members, with no extra admin fees. The fee includes a unique medal, food and drink at checkpoints, GPS tracking, first aid services, a light meal and hot drinks at the finish, and prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in both Female and Male/Open categories. One pound from every entry will be donated to Norfolk Trails and a £2 fee reduction applies for members of an affiliated UK Athletics running club or the Trail Running Association. The event is licensed by the Trail Runners Association and held under UK Athletics rules. Transfers are allowed until 5 September 2026; deferrals are not allowed.
