Summer Boudicca Way 50km Ultra
The Summer Boudicca Way 50km Ultramarathon is a beginner friendly event in Norfolk that follows the Boudicca Way long distance path from Diss to Trowse, Norwich. This is the third edition of the race, following events in 2024 and 2025.
The route runs parallel to the old Roman road (now the A140) and passes through the villages of Pulham Market, Fritton, Saxlingham, Stoke Holy Cross and Caistor St. Edmund. The race starts at Hope Church in Diss and finishes in Trowse, Norwich. Participants have ten hours to reach the finish line.
The event is limited to 250 participants and has a minimum age of 20 years on race day. Entry fees are listed by category and include no extra admin fees; a UKA member fee reduction is offered. Each entry includes a unique medal, food and drink at checkpoints, GPS tracking, first aid services, and a light meal with hot drinks at the finish. Prizes are awarded to the first three finishers in the Female and Male/Open categories. One pound from every entry is donated to Norfolk Trails. Transfers to another participant are allowed up to 5 September 2026. The event is licensed by the Trail Runners Association and held under UK Athletics rules.
