From Reydon the course continues through Southwold, rounds the River Blyth estuary, then moves towards Dunwich over moorland and forest tracks. The route passes Dunwich Heath and skirts the edge of RSPB Minsmere before following coastal trails through Sizewell and Thorpeness to a seafront finish in Aldeburgh.

Aid stations are positioned at Benacre (13 km), Reydon (23.3 km), Dunwich Church (35.1 km) and Sizewell (44.2 km); toilets are available at Reydon, Dunwich Church and Sizewell, with several additional public facilities along the route. Precision Fuel & Hydration products are supplied at the aid stations. A GPX file and other route downloads are provided for the course.
