Suffolk Coastal Path 50K - Lowestoft to Aldeburgh

The Suffolk Coastal Path 50K is a point to point ultramarathon trail run held on 12 September 2026. The route runs south from Lowestoft to a seafront finish in Aldeburgh and covers approximately 50 km with about 120 m of elevation gain.

The course is fully marked and has a nine hour time limit. The first 20 km combines hard paths, quiet country lanes, and scenic trails as it winds inland. From Reydon the route continues through Southwold and around the River Blyth estuary, then heads toward Dunwich across moorland and forest paths. The course passes National Trust Dunwich Heath, skirts RSPB Minsmere, and follows coastal trails through Sizewell and Thorpeness before finishing in Aldeburgh.
