Suffolk Coastal Path 50K
The Suffolk Coastal Path 50K is a point to point trail ultramarathon held on 12 September 2026. The race starts on the seafront at Kensington Gardens in Lowestoft and finishes at Moot Hall in Aldeburgh. The route covers 50 km with roughly 120 m of elevation gain and is fully marked.
The course begins with about 20 km of mixed terrain including hard paths, quiet country lanes and scenic trails that wind inland. After Checkpoint 2 at Reydon the route continues through Southwold, skirts the River Blyth estuary and heads toward Dunwich along moorland and forest paths. The route passes National Trust Dunwich Heath and runs alongside RSPB Minsmere before following coastal trails through Sizewell and Thorpeness into Aldeburgh.

Toilets are available at Checkpoints 2, 3 and 4, with several additional public facilities along the route. A GPX file and map resources are provided for the course. The event is licensed by the Trail Running Association and held under UKA rules. A coach transfer option is offered and the event carries a UTMB World Series index.
