Suffolk Coastal Path 50K
The Suffolk Coastal Path 50K is a point to point ultra trail run held on 12th September 2026. The route runs from Lowestoft to a seafront finish in Aldeburgh and covers about 50 kilometres with 120 metres of elevation. The course is fully marked and the event has a time limit of 9 hours. The race is licensed by the Trail Running Association and carries a UTMB World Series index. The minimum age is 20. Coach transfer is available as an add on. The route is varied. The first 20 kilometres include hard paths, quiet country lanes, and scenic trails as the course moves inland. From Reydon the route continues through Southwold and around the River Blyth estuary, then heads toward Dunwich across moorland and forest paths. The course passes National Trust Dunwich Heath and skirts RSPB Minsmere before following coastal trails through Sizewell and Thorpeness to Aldeburgh.
