Suffolk Coastal Path 50K

The Suffolk Coastal Path 50K is a point to point trail ultramarathon held on 12 September 2026. The race starts on the seafront at Kensington Gardens in Lowestoft and finishes at Moot Hall in Aldeburgh. The route covers 50 km with roughly 120 m of elevation gain and is fully marked.

The course begins with about 20 km of mixed terrain including hard paths, quiet country lanes and scenic trails that wind inland. After Checkpoint 2 at Reydon the route continues through Southwold, skirts the River Blyth estuary and heads toward Dunwich along moorland and forest paths. The route passes National Trust Dunwich Heath and runs alongside RSPB Minsmere before following coastal trails through Sizewell and Thorpeness into Aldeburgh.

Toilets are available at Checkpoints 2, 3 and 4, with several additional public facilities along the route. A GPX file and map resources are provided for the course. The event is licensed by the Trail Running Association and held under UKA rules. A coach transfer option is offered and the event carries a UTMB World Series index. A guided 10 km trail run from Taverham along parts of the Mariotts Way through fields and woodland, led at a conversational pace with ability-based groups and a qualified run leader.

A guided 18 mile trail run on 12 July 2026 along the Kett’s Country Long Distance Trail, starting in Wymondham and finishing just past Cringleford’s historic twin arched bridge. The event emphasises history, nature and wildlife.

A 22 mile guided trail run from North Walsham to Cromer on the Norfolk Coast. The route follows the Paston Way and passes places linked to the Paston family; organiser ESCAPE trails lists the price as £28.

A 50 km ultramarathon from Diss to Norwich along the Boudicca Way, limited to 250 entrants with a 10 hour time limit. Entry includes checkpoints, GPS tracking, first aid, a medal and a light meal at the finish.
