The 2025 Winter Warrior 50km Ultra is a trail ultramarathon held on Saturday 1 November 2025. The route follows the Boudicca Way from Trowse, Norwich to the finish at Hope Church, Diss. The event is organised by Boghopper Races Ltd and is licensed by the Trail Runners Association and held under UK Athletics rules (permit number 6875). New entries closed on 19 October 2025 and the event is limited to 150 participants.

Race details

The race distance is 50 km and the course remains on the Boudicca Way, passing through Caistor St. Edmund, Stoke Holy Cross, Saxlingham, Tasburgh, Fritton, Pulham Market and Shimpling before reaching Diss. The minimum age on race day is 20 years. Entry fees were stated as £67 for UKA members and £69 for non-members, with no extra admin or processing fees. Deferrals are not allowed; transfers to another participant are permitted until midday Saturday 25 October 2025.

Entries include a finisher medal, a GPX course file, three indoor checkpoints with food and hot drinks, a light meal and hot drinks at the finish, GPS tracking, first aid cover and free parking near the start and finish. Prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the Female and Male/Open categories. The organiser will donate £1 per runner to Norfolk Trails.
