The 2026 Holy Trail Festival of Running is scheduled for 9 May 2026 at Nicholas Everitt Park, Oulton Broad, Lowestoft, Suffolk. The event is organised by Boghopper Races Ltd. Minimum age for both distances is 20 years. The entry includes a medal, food and drink at checkpoints, GPS tracking, first aid support, and a light meal with hot drinks at the finish. Prizes are offered for first, second and third places in the Female and Male/Open categories. Transfers of entries to another participant are allowed until 25 April 2026. A race t-shirt is available to purchase during entry. The event is licensed by the Trail Runners Association and held under UK Athletics rules. Experience 50 km of rolling Norfolk trail along the historic Boudicca Way from Norwich to Diss on 1 November 2025. Limited to 150 runners, this winter ultra features checkpoints, hot drinks and a lively finish with a finisher medal.

Roman Ramble at Billingford Lakes offers rugged trail running with four hour and six hour options across heavy half and ultra laps. Parking is included and all finishers receive bespoke medals, so bring your own cup or bottle for refills.

Join the 2026 Heritage Run in Thorpeness on 1 May for scenic mainly off road 10k and half marathon distances, plus a dog run 10k. Organised by local volunteers, the event supports charity and has donated over £45,000 to date.
