Angles Way Ultra : 50k

The Angles Way Ultra is a 50k trail event that follows the Angles Way long-distance path along the Waveney River valley from Shipmeadow to Great Yarmouth. The route runs to Great Yarmouth and finishes at Broadland Great Yarmouth Rugby Club, Cobholm Playing Fields.

The course is mostly flat with a few hills that occur mainly in the first half. Surfaces include tracks, footpaths, short sections of road and sandy trails that tend to dry well. The route is fully marked with permanent Angles Way signage.

Event provisions include coach transport from the venue to the race start, four checkpoints offering food and drink, medical cover and route marking. Walkers are welcome. Finishers receive an Angles Way Ultra 50k medal. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and top three female finishers.

After that date there are no refunds or substitutions and no deferrals for this year’s event. Entries are accepted online. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
