Angles Way Ultra

Great Yarmouth, United Kingdom • 25 May 2025

The Angles Way Ultra is a long-distance trail running event held along the scenic Waveney River valley on the Norfolk/Suffolk border, between Thetford and Great Yarmouth. The event features two distances: a 100k ultra starting in Diss and a 50k ultra beginning in Shipmeadow, both finishing in Great Yarmouth. The course is predominantly flat, comprising tracks, paths, short road sections, and sandy trails that dry well. The race promotes environmental responsibility by being cupless, requiring runners to bring their own cups for checkpoint drinks. Participants enjoy coach transport to the start, well-stocked checkpoints, chip timing, and finisher medals, with prizes for top finishers.
