Iceni Guided Ultra Run

The Iceni Guided Ultra Run is a point-to-point journey along the 36 mile Boudicca Way. The route starts at Diss Station and travels through the Norfolk countryside and several picturesque villages before concluding at Norwich Station. This event is a fully guided trail run rather than a race, focusing on a social atmosphere and the local history and nature of the county.

The run is led by qualified and experienced run leaders who manage the group at a casual, social pace. The group stays together, moving at the speed of the slowest participant to ensure no one is left behind. This format is intended for runners who have previously completed at least a marathon and are interested in transitioning to ultramarathon distances in a non-competitive environment.

Participants can access the following distances:

  • 36 miles (approx. 58 km)

The event includes fully stocked aid stations located every 10 miles along the trail. Participants receive a bespoke wooden medal upon completion. The logistics are designed for those arriving by rail, as the course connects two major stations. A portion of every entry fee is donated to the Norfolk Trails team for the ongoing maintenance of the path. Runners will receive a recommended kit list prior to the event date.
