Course and race details

Distances:

  • 5k
  • 10k
  • Half marathon
  • Full marathon
  • Ultra

The half marathon uses the Dalham Kiln route as a single loop. The full marathon is two loops of that half-marathon course. The 5k and 10k follow the Goldings Hills route. Races shorter than the half marathon run on out-and-back sections with a turnaround point. The ultra is described as running to the 5k turnaround point beyond the marathon loops.

There is a seven-hour event cut off. Aid stations with drinks and nibbles are placed approximately every 10 km. The Race HQ/Base Camp is located at the start and lap point and includes the main water/aid station. The event has adopted a cupless policy, so participants should bring their own bottles or cups for refilling. Only bone conductor headphones are permitted. Transfer and lucky-dip medal options are offered under the organiser's stated terms. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
