Valley of the Owls Run is organised by Zig Zag Running and takes place on 7 June 2026 at Suffolk Running Centre, Church Road, Bury St Edmunds, IP29 5AX. The event has a maximum of 300 entrants and a minimum age of 18 on the event date. There is a seven-hour cut off. Parking is included with entry.

The half marathon uses the Dalham Kiln loop. The 5k and 10k use the Goldings Hills route. Runners under half-marathon distance follow an out-and-back with a turnaround point. The half is one loop, the full marathon is two loops, and the ultra follows the route to the 5k turnaround point.

Logistics and facilities

Aid stations with drinks and nibbles are provided approximately every 10 km. Race HQ / base camp is at the start and lap point and will host a water/aid station. The event is cupless, so participants should bring their own bottle or cup for refilling. Only bone-conduction headphones are allowed.

Entry and extras

Entry fees vary by distance and category, generally in the range of £27 to £38. Finishers receive a bespoke event medal or a lucky-dip finisher medal option where available.
