The Valley of the Owls Run is organised by Zig Zag Running at Suffolk Running Centre, Church Road, Bury St Edmunds, IP29 5AX. The event offers multiple fixed distances:

Course and facilities

The half marathon uses the Dalham Kiln route as a single loop; the full marathon is two loops of that route. The 5k and 10k use the Goldings Hills Route and operate as an out-and-back with turnarounds. The ultra uses the route to the 5k turnaround point. Aid stations with drinks and nibbles are provided approximately every 10 km. The Race HQ/Base Camp is located at the start and lap point and includes a water/aid station. The event is cupless, so participants must bring their own bottles or cups. A bespoke finisher medal is provided, with a lucky-dip finisher option available for some entries.
