Participants run a 4.167-mile loop every hour on the hour, continuing until only one runner completes a loop within the hour time limit. The course is wide, flat, and fast, featuring mostly gravel and grass footpaths with good drainage and minimal elevation.

The event offers chip timing and a £500 prize for the winner. Facilities include a single aid station with snacks and water, food vendors, clean portable toilets, and free camping for runners and crews.
