The Pumpkin Run takes place at Foxes Farm, Halstead Road, Eight Ash Green, Colchester, CO6 3PT (bus route 88) on Sunday 28 September 2025. The event uses traffic-free farm tracks and a mostly flat, scenic loop that runs through fields, past pumpkins and through a pumpkin corn trail. An event village will operate on site with refreshments, event photography, a Field of Fun area and a bouncy castle. On-site parking is available a short walk from the event village.

Distances offered:
- 10K - farm loop; entry £28; age 14 years or older.
- 5K - farm loop; entry £25; age 11 years or older.
- Family 1K - entry £10; no age limit; runners under 6 need parental supervision.
- Dog-friendly 5K - new for 2025; entry £30; age 11 years or older.
The event uses chip timing and provides an exclusive medal and a downloadable certificate for participants. There are time limits of 1 hour 30 minutes for the 5K and 2 hours for the 10K. Race packs and further logistical details are stated to be provided nearer the event date. Teams of more than four runners are eligible for a group discount.
