The Pumpkin Run Colchester

The Pumpkin Run is an autumnal running event held at Foxes Farm in Eight Ash Green, Colchester. Participants run through open countryside, including scenic fields and a pumpkin corn trail. The race routes consist of traffic-free farm tracks and utilize a mostly flat course.

National and local runners can choose from three distinct distances:

  • 10 km challenge
  • 5 km run
  • 1 km family dash

The event is open to various age groups, with specific requirements for the longer distances. Participants must be at least 14 years old for the 10 km and 11 years old for the 5 km. There is no age limit for the 1 km family dash, though children under 6 require parental supervision.

The venue features an event village that includes a "Field of Fun," a bouncy castle, and a refreshment area known as the Fox Box. On-site parking is located a one-minute walk throughout the event village, and the site is accessible via Bus Route 88.

All registered participants receive chip timing, an exclusive medal, and a downloadable certificate. Group discounts are available for teams or running clubs consisting of four or more runners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
