Felsted Frolic

Felsted Frolic is a trail running event held on 31 Aug 2026 with two route options. The event uses written route descriptions issued on the day; there are no course markings, no marshals and no GPX files. It is not a mass start event and participants will be timed at the finish.

Race headquarters are at The Chequers, Felsted. Entry includes a voucher for a bacon sandwich or a veggie sausage sandwich. Running with dogs is not allowed for events licensed to UK Athletics.

Distances

• approx 10 miles (minimum age 17)
• 10 km (minimum age 16)

Entry fees are listed as £9 for affiliated competitors and £11 for unaffiliated competitors, plus a 50p booking fee. A service fee of 4 percent per sign-up applies, minimum 50p. Discounted entry is available for members of clubs affiliated to EA WA SA TRA. The closing date for entries is 29 Aug 2026. No refunds will be given except if the race is cancelled. Transfers are not allowed after 24 Aug. It is possible to enter more than once on behalf of others, but full contact and emergency details and confirmation of agreement to the event terms must be supplied before the closing date or the entrant will not be permitted to take part.
