Junior races on short quarry and moorland circuits at Penistone Hill, with new 2026 age groups and distances from 600 m to 2,900 m. Minimum age 6, entry £2, goody bags and prizes for top three in each category.

A 7 hour timed trail event on a loop beside the River Wear in Durham where runners choose their distance from 3 km upwards. Finishers receive themed medals, goody bags and distance pins for longer achievements.

Trail races around Carsington Water on 17 October 2026, with a half marathon and a 10k on marked, undulating paths. Entries include a themed medal, water and post-race goodies, plus an event village and downloadable GPX routes.

Two trail races in the Amber Valley offering 31 miles and 20 miles over undulating countryside and woodland. The course is largely unmarked but route notes and GPX files are provided, with checkpoints supplying water and some food.

A self navigated 50 km event around Grassington in the Yorkshire Dales, featuring Malham Tarn, Buckden Pike and sections of the Dales Way. The route includes trails and moorland, and a GPX file, aid stations and live tracking are provided.

Rip n Run XL in Wadsworth offers a 40 mile route with 5,800 ft elevation and an 80 mile double option with 28 hours to finish. Four checkpoints, indoor facilities at two stops, and hot food at HQ support runners.

Trail races at Loggerheads Copuntry Park with a 6km loop, a 12km two-lap option and a 6km Canicross. Courses are marked and marshalled and entry fees range from £19 to £22.

Part of the 2026 Yorkshire Weekend Saunter series in Brighouse, this event offers 5K, 10K and half marathon routes on scenic courses, with a jumble medal, hot food, drink options and flexible entry.

A 31 mile trail race in Amber Valley, Derbyshire, with a 20 mile Petit Raid northern loop. Largely unmarked routes use GPX files and route notes; checkpoints provide water and some food. Minimum age 18 and a 9 hour time limit.

A two-hour outdoor trail run and fitness session in Bollington combining running to White Nancy with bodyweight exercises on varied terrain. The event is in person, for ages 16 and over, with free parking and limited spaces.

UKA British Fell and Hill Relays take place on Saturday 17 October 2026, hosted by Todmorden Harriers at Todmorden Cricket Club and Centre Vale Park. Event details are being finalised and will be added when available.

A *50 km* trail on the marked Brenig Way from Corwen to Llyn Brenig dam, with 1450 m ascent, varied upland and forest terrain, three checkpoints, required kit and GPS trackers provided.

Multi-distance running event in Knaresborough with 10k (ish), half, 20-mile, marathon and ultra options on a 6.5-mile loop through parkland and a converted rail track. Feed stations, finisher medal and post-race refreshments are provided.

Two trail races from Shotley Bridge, County Durham, with a **25 km** course and a **53 km** ultra that passes reservoirs, moorland and woods. The 53 km route has three feed stations, mandatory safety kit and live chip timing.
