UKA Fell & Hill Relays 2026 - Todmorden
The UKA Fell & Hill Relays 2026 take place in Todmorden with event facilities based at Centre Vale Park and event headquarters at Todmorden Cricket Club, adjacent to the park. The course routes lead up and out of the valley onto the surrounding moors and include a mix of woodland, open moorland, bog, heather, tussocks and steep grades.
The race comprises four legs with the following formats and age guidance: Leg 1 solo, age 16+ and fully flagged; Leg 2 pairs, age 18+ and partially flagged; Leg 3 paired navigation, age 18+, following flags for the first mile then map navigation for the remainder; Leg 4 solo, age 16+ and fully flagged. Maps (except Leg 3) will be released at the end of July. GPS devices are prohibited for navigation. A full FRA kit is required for competitors, including a waterproof whole-body cover with taped seams and attached hood, hat, gloves, map, compass, whistle and emergency food; kit checks will operate at the changeover area and competitors without required kit will not be allowed to run.
Entries operate in pre-entry and general-entry windows with reserved places for teams based on 2025 results. The event fee is £200 per team and the event has a capacity limit of 200 teams; if general entries exceed available places, remaining places will be allocated by ballot. Competitor food and drink are included and served at the cricket club. Todmorden train station and local bus stops are a short walk from the park. Dogs are permitted in the park but are not allowed on course routes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
