Trail Running calendar near Much Wenlock 2026-2027

A 26.2 mile walking and running challenge around Alstonefield with 4800 feet of ascent, staffed checkpoints, food at the finish and community fundraising.

A 24-hour trail challenge in Edale where runners complete as many 23.3 km loops (977 m ascent each) as possible. Entries limited to 50 with indoor transition, camping and a single log-cabin option; support, navigation notes and an eco-troph..

On 5 June 2027 at Bakewell Showground runners choose from five trail distances from 6 km to 55 km across varied moorland, gritstone edges and valley paths. Outposts offer snacks and drink and the course is fully marked and timed.

A 5 km muddy obstacle course through Graves Park woodland and fields, with start and finish by the animal farm. Organised by Cancer Research UK to raise funds for cancer research, the event includes timed wave starts and onsite parking.

Derby Pretty Muddy 5k is an obstacle course at Markeaton Park with climbing, crawling and sliding across mixed terrain. It is for participants aged 13 and over and includes a fundraising element, a kit pack and a finisher medal.

A long-standing mountain race in Eryri, North Wales, tracing a bee-line route from the coast to the summit of Yr Wyddfa on Saturday 5 June 2027. Long and short courses cross rocky summits, technical ridges and grassy slopes.

A fully supported 100 mile trail ultra around the Leicestershire Round with solo and four person relay options, nine stocked checkpoints and UTMB Index recognition.
