The Ultra Loop Track Edition

The Ultra Loop Track Edition is a timed track running event that offers participants a choice of 6, 12 or 24 hour formats. Runners complete repeated circuits of a 400m track and receive a finishing time and medal regardless of distance covered.

The course is a 400m track at Woodbank Park Athletics Track in Stockport, Greater Manchester, UK. The full address is Woodbank, Woodbank Park, Stockport SK1 4JR. Entry fees range from £36 to £85. After entry, participants receive a confirmation and an event guide by email; race bibs are collected at registration on the morning of the event.

Age restrictions apply: under 12s are not permitted; participants aged 12 to 15 must have a parent or guardian contact the organiser and attend the event with them. The start/finish line serves as the single looping line used for lap timing. Official results show laps completed, total distance and elapsed time, and laps not finished before the cut-off are excluded. A results leaderboard and course records are maintained.

Facilities include an indoor building with bag drop, toilets, changing, showers and an aid station. A small kitchen with hot water, a microwave and two small electric hobs is available when appropriate. The aid station provides water, fruit, sweet and savoury snacks, energy bars and electrolytes from the event sponsor VOOM. Participants are asked to bring their own bottle; cups are not provided. Twenty four hour participants may pitch a tent on the grass inside the track; tents are not supplied.
