The Ultra Loop - Track Edition

The Ultra Loop Track Edition is a timed running event held on a 400 m athletics track at Woodbank Park Athletics Track in Stockport, Greater Manchester, UK. Participants choose a 6, 12 or 24 hour challenge and run as many 400 m laps as they can. All finishers receive a recorded finishing time and a medal. Entry fees are listed between £36 and £85.

The event uses a single start and finish line that also records lap times each circuit. Official results show the number of laps completed, total distance and time elapsed. Any laps not completed before the event cut-off are not included in the final results. The organiser maintains a results leaderboard and records for the course.

On event day entrants receive a confirmation email and an event guide beforehand. Race numbers and chip timing ankle straps are collected at registration on the morning of the event. Persons under 12 are not permitted to participate. Entrants aged 12 to 15 must have a parent or guardian contact the organiser to arrange the place and that parent or guardian must attend the event with the entrant.

Facilities include an indoor building with bag drop, toilets, changing rooms and showers, plus an aid station with water, fruit, sweet and savoury snacks, energy bars and electrolytes. A small kitchen with hot water, a microwave and two small electric hobs is available when appropriate. The event operates a bring your own bottle policy.
