Wincle Trout

The Wincle Trout is a 9.5 km (5.9 miles) fell race in the Peak District, starting from Mellor Knowl Farm near Wincle, Cheshire. The course includes a climb of 320 m (1050 ft).

The event is held in conjunction with the Wincle Village Fete. There is an additional fee for entry to the fete, which applies to all attendees including runners. The race includes a river crossing, subject to conditions.

Entry Details

Pre-entry is required, with a limit of 350 participants and a fee of £13.50. Entry on the day is not available. The minimum age for the main race is 20. Team prizes are awarded for both male and female teams, with four runners to count.

Junior Race
