The Wincle Trout fell race takes place in the Peak District at Mellor Knowl, Wincle, Macclesfield, Cheshire, SK11 0QE on Sat 13 Jun 2026. The senior course is 9.5 km / 5.9 miles with 320 m of climb. The event is listed as Category BS and notes "Skills: PM." Organisers warn that roads may be busy. The event is held in conjunction with the Wincle Fete and there is a river crossing for seniors and juniors, conditions permitting.

Main race entrants must be aged 20 by 31.12.2026 under the FRA age categories. The junior 3 km race is for runners aged 12 and over on the day.

Entry is by pre-entry only, with a limit of 350 places. The pre-entry fee is £13.50. There is an additional £2 fee for entry to the Village Fete for all attendees, including runners. There is no entry on the day for the main race.

Competition and insurance
