The Black Night Scar fell race lights up the South West Pennines on 24 Nov 2026 from Todmorden, a punchy 5.8 km course with 315 m of climb under headtorches. Entries available pre entry or on the day with teams of three welcome.

A 24 hour, 51 mile linear route from Marsden to Ilkley across South Pennines moorland, visiting six Stanza Stones inscribed with poems by Simon Armitage. The event offers live tracking, staffed checkpoints with food and medical support.

Dalby Forest Wild Winter Trail Runs on 29 November 2026 features a Marathon, Half Marathon and 10km through Dalby Forest on the edge of the North York Moors. Chip timing is provided and finishers receive a medal and refreshments.
