This is a fell race on Gisborough Moors in the North York Moors region, held on Sun 6 Dec 2026. The course distance is 20 km (12.4 miles) with a total climb of 850 m (2789 ft). The event base is at Guisborough and East Cleveland Sea Cadets, 74 Belmangate, Guisborough, TS14 7AQ.

Entry is available by pre-entry and on the day. Fees are £7 for members and £8 for non-members, using a universal entry form. The minimum age for entry is 18. Teams are permitted: men’s teams of four and women’s teams of three.

The race has a Permit and UK Athletics insurance from the FRA. It is a counter race for the North East Fell Running Champs. A race map is provided by the organiser and runners are asked to print it and bring it. Organisers note there is no parking at the race venue; ample parking is available in the town and car sharing is suggested. Walkers should use the public footpath to reach the start because of traffic.

Circular trail races from Swainby Village Hall with 7 mile and 16 mile options through moorland and forest. Marked routes, feed stations, checkpoints and downloadable GPS files.

A coastal race on 19 April 2026 from South Shields Pier to Roker Pier, about 7 miles along cliff paths past Marsden Rock and Souter Lighthouse. Entries open 2 February with separate fees for UKA registered and non registered runners.

Run through the North York Moors at the Heartbeat Hobble in Goathland, an 11.9 km fell with 290 m of climb. Entry on the day and a village hall finish create a friendly spring fell outing.

Experience a 36 mile ultra distance event through the stunning Esk Walk Valley with 4487 feet of elevation. This circular route starts and finishes in Glaisdale and is open to both runners and walkers.
