Do you like my Bingley Baubles

Do you like my Bingley Baubles is a festive canal running event organised by Its Grim Up North Running at Bingley Rugby Club, Wagon Lane, Bingley, West Yorkshire BD16 1LT. The event on 20/12/2026 offers chip timed races along the Leeds and Liverpool Canal towpath, a largely flat and well surfaced route that includes the 3 Rise and 5 Rise Locks as the main climbs.

The course is fully marshalled and clearly signed and is licensed by the Trail Running Association under UKA Rules. Feed and drink stations are provided approximately every three miles with water and treats. Toilets are available at Bingley Rugby Club near the parking area. Parking is available at the club for a fee of £5 per car, cash only, and the start is a short walk from the parking area. The venue is about 1.5 miles from Bingley train station.

Event procedures include a cup less approach so runners should bring a reusable cup or bottle. For safety no over ear headphones are allowed; in ear use should be bone conducting or one in, one out. Some minor road crossings may be unmarshalled. Transfers and deferrals are available free via the organiser website. Every finisher receives a bespoke festive medal and post race goodies. Trail runs nearby

Team relay at Golden Acre Park in Leeds on 14 July 2026 where teams of three run three laps of 2.75 miles on an undulating trail. Entry was limited to 150 teams and places are full.

A 26 km trail Metric Marathon starting and finishing in Hebden Bridge, running out to Stoodley Pike and back. The course is waymarked with marshals, a halfway checkpoint, a water station at the turnaround and baggage storage; all finishers..

A 36 mile point-to-point ultra from Clitheroe Castle to Lancaster Castle with chip timing, live tracking, six checkpoints and mandatory kit. Pre-registration only, age 18+, entry fee £65 and a 10 hour maximum time limit.

Turnslack Fell Race on 18 July 2026 is a Category BM fell race covering 12.9 km with 610 m of ascent. Race HQ is at Calderbrook Community Church and parking is at Stansfield Estate Playing Fields.
