20th Regular Irregular is an LDWA event in Holmfirth, starting and finishing at Brockholes Village Hall. Participants may walk or run one or more of three linked loops: Loop A 11.6 miles (18.5km), Loop B 7.2 miles (11.5km) and Loop C 4.2 miles (6.7km). The routes can be tackled in order from longest to shortest, offering a choice of distance and pace. The course traverses moorland, urban streets and countryside roads around the Holmfirth area, with typical early-winter conditions. Hosted by The Irregulars, described as one of the LDWA’s friendliest groups, the event provides tea, snacks and a finish certificate; dogs welcome under control.
