The 20th Regular Irregular is a running and walking event held in the Holmfirth area, starting and finishing at Brockholes Village Hall. Participants can choose to complete one or more of three looped routes measuring 11.6 miles, 7.2 miles, and 4.2 miles, tackling them in descending order of length. The course covers moorland, urban terrain, and roads, with early winter conditions requiring appropriate gear such as waterproof clothing and torches. The event is organized by The Irregulars, a friendly LDWA group, and offers refreshments including tea, snacks, and a meal at the finish.
