The Great Sprout Scuttle & Pyjama Express

The event takes place on 13 December 2026 at Normanby Hall Country Park & Gardens. It brings together a collection of festive runs and a team fundraising challenge organised by Curly's Athletes.

Distances and formats:

  • 5k trail run, dog friendly
  • 10k trail run, licensed by the Trail Running Association and held under UK Athletics guidance
  • 3k Pyjama Express family fun run, untimed, waves of 200

Entry prices are stated for each event: the 5k and 10k are listed at £20.50 to £23.50, the Pyjama Express at £10.00. The Santa's Super Sleigh Challenge requires a £50 reserve donation and teams are asked to aim to raise £300.

Santa's Super Sleigh Challenge is for teams of five (one Santa and four reindeer) using a wheeled sleigh. Teams must be composed of participants aged 16 or over. Only twelve teams are accepted for the challenge. One hundred percent of the £50 reserve donation is directed to Lindsey Lodge Hospice.

The trail course runs through countryside with off road sections. December conditions may include muddy spots and wildlife such as deer. The event notes space for club tents and facilities for families and spectators. The Pyjama Express includes a commemorative Curly’s event medal and children under nine must be accompanied by an adult. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
