The Stoop is a short pre-Christmas fell race held on 21 December 2025 in Haworth, West Yorkshire. The course runs up to the stoop stone and participants traditionally wear a Santa hat. The event is the second race of the Woodentop series.

Course, entry and facilities

The route is a hilly fell course of 8 Kilometres, run as one lap. The event has an entry limit of 300 runners; the listing shows 291 remaining places at the time of publication. The race is not suitable for wheelchairs.

Race headquarters are at the old cricket club, Penistone Hill Country Park, near Haworth, Keighley (Grid Ref: 025 364). Facilities are limited: toilets are available, but there are no water stations, no distance markers, no changing facilities, no showers and no baggage store. The entry fee is £9.00 for all entrants; this price includes race fees, card charges and administration. If the event does not sell out, entry on the day is available for an additional £1.00.
