Organised by Great Owl Running, the Chevin BS fell race is a 10-kilometre loop on the Chevin in Otley, West Yorkshire. A Category BS event, it features about 390 metres of ascent in a notably hilly course. The race starts and finishes on Station Road, beginning with a climb to Surprise View, then traverses The West Gate, the Danefield ascent, a Poolscar Wood loop, and a climb to The Fells Plantation before returning to Chevin Forest Park and finishing along Miller Lane. Post-race refreshments are at The Black Horse pub. Facilities are basic: baggage store; no water stations or toilets; not wheelchair accessible; entry fees vary by affiliation and Trees Not Tees option.
