Course and facilities

The course starts and finishes on Station Road. Registration and post-race refreshments are provided at The Black Horse pub, and Race HQ is at Station Top Car Park (opposite Auction Market). The route is a single lap with a hilly fell profile: an opening climb to Surprise View, down to The West Gate, another climb to the Danefield section, a descent into a loop of Poolscar Wood, an eastern point at The Fells Plantation with a climb alongside power lines, return to Chevin Forest Park, a climb up Miller Lane and a descent via Jonny Lane back to Station Road.
