Punk Panther Christmas Cracker is a trail running event in Otley, West Yorkshire on 12 December 2026 organised by Punk Panther Ultra Marathons. The event offers three route lengths with specified climb figures and has a maximum field of 100 entrants. Minimum age to enter is 18.

Distances and climb:

  • 12 miles 1700 feet climb
  • 19 miles 2200 feet climb

The course uses three checkpoints. The 32 mile route visits CP1, CP2, CP1 again and CP3; the 19 mile route visits CP1 and CP3; the 12 mile route visits CP3 only. Arriving at a checkpoint after it closes results in retirement from the race. Checkpoints provide water, soft drinks, energy bars, snacks and include vegan and gluten free options.

All ultramarathon entrants receive a tracker; 12 and 19 mile entrants may hire a tracker for a fee. GPX files and a route description are published on the organiser website and the final route version is emailed with final instructions. A mandatory kit list applies to all distances and random kit checks will be conducted on course; failure to carry required kit may lead to disqualification.

Registration and the finish are based at Otley Cricket Club, Cross Green, Otley LS21 1RB. Dogs are allowed on the course subject to event rules but are not permitted inside the cricket club or at the finish in the church. Finishers receive a medal and event T shirt unless they opt out, and homemade hot food with vegan and gluten free options is available at the finish.
