A 50-mile trail ultra around Minehead on 8 May 2027, featuring about 7,337 ft of ascent, six aid stations and a 16 hour cut-off. The route mixes coastline, ancient woodland and moorland and starts and finishes at West Somerset College.

Multiple trail race distances in the Stroud area using towpaths, disused railway tracks and Cotswold hills, with a route that ascends to Selsley Common for wide valley views. Water, marshals and first aid are provided on course.

Trail races at Roadford Lake in Devon include a half marathon, 10K, 5K, canicross options and kids races, with chip timing, medals and finish line refreshments. Parking is charged at £5 per car.

June 2027

The Beyond Bristol Ultra will take place in Bristol city centre on Saturday 5 June 2027. You can run between 25 and 55 kilometers.

A multi-distance running event in Bath that passes through two long, lit former railway tunnels and starts and finishes at Brickfields Park. Options range from a 500 m Colourburst to an ultramarathon and the event supports Sustrans.

A backyard ultra at Breakheart Quarry where runners repeat a **6706 metre** loop every hour until one person remains; the event includes camping, marked trails and on course support in the Cotswold countryside.

A coastal loop of about 10.6 km at Mount Edgcumbe with 10K, half marathon, marathon and canicross options plus kids races. The route runs mainly on coast path, offers on-site camping and has a marathon cut off of 7.5 hours.

Multi distance running event at Warren Farm near Cheddar Gorge on 13 June 2027. Routes follow gorge cliff tops and the Mendip Hills, including Beacon Batch views.

A Pretty Muddy 5k at The Downs in Bristol with grass start and finish, mixed terrain and obstacles to climb, crawl and slide. Staggered wave starts apply and the event supports Cancer Research UK with a minimum fundraising target.

July 2027

Timed trail festival at Newnham Park featuring 12, 24 and 36 hour races on a 5 mile loop, with solo, pair and team entries plus a kids race and on‑site camping.

A 10 hour loop endurance race on Mynydd Troed with a technical 2.7 mile circuit and over 1000 ft of ascent per lap. Solo, pair and four person team entries are accepted; the route is fully marked with two clip stations and strict kit rules.

Two ultramarathon options along the Beacons Way in the United Kingdom on 24 and 25 July 2027. The event is part of the Ultra Great Britain Race Series and features live online GPS tracking.

A new quadrennial ultra of about 39.7 miles along National Cycle Route 8 from Glasbury to Merthyr Tydfil, serving as Day 5 of the Mount to Coast CYMRUN. The field is limited to 40 runners and cutoffs are enforced on a 4 mph average.

A single-day ultra of 34.8 miles along National Cycle Route 8 from Merthyr Tydfil to Barry Island, held as Day 6 of the MTC CYMRUN. Field limited to 40, mandatory kit and a 4.0 miles per hour minimum average speed apply.
