Margam Wild Trail Runs

Margam Wild Trail Runs takes place on 23 May 2027 at Margam Country Park, Wales, SA13 2TJ. The event uses trail routes that pass through the country park and around the park castle and summit.

The event offers multiple distances:

  • 5 km: scenic lap around the Castle.
  • 10 km: flat start followed by a steep ascent, then a mostly downhill finish.
  • Half Marathon: integrates the 10 km route then turns off at the base of the summit for a steep climb to the top with views over the park.

The event is canicross friendly. One controlled dog per runner is allowed. Some sections of the 10 km and Half Marathon include rocky descents and gravel paths, which may affect runners and dogs.

Live chip timing is provided by RESULTSBASE.NET. All finishers receive an event medal, Wild Deer merchandise, and a drink and a snack. An exclusive event T-shirt is available to purchase for £12 when signing up. Limited on-site parking is available for £4.00. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
