Margam Wild Trail Runs
Margam Wild Trail Runs is organised by Wild Deer Events at Margam Country Park, Wales (SA13 2TJ). The event uses trail routes through the park and provides live chip timing provided by Timing Up North.
Distances offered:
- 5 km - scenic lap around the Castle.
- 10 km - fairly flat start then a steep ascent followed by downhill running.
- Half Marathon - integrates the 10 km route, then turns along the base of the summit before a steep climb to the top with extensive park views.
The event is canicross friendly; one controlled dog per runner is allowed. All finishers receive an event medal, Wild Deer merchandise, and a drink and snack. An exclusive event T-shirt is available to purchase for £12 with entry.
