The 5 km route follows a scenic lap around the castle. The 10 km route begins with a fairly flat section, includes a steep ascent and then a mainly downhill finish. The half marathon incorporates the 10 km route before turning along the base of the summit, then a steep but swift climb to the park top with wide views.
The event is canicross friendly and permits one controlled dog per runner. Live chip timing is provided by RESULTSBASE.NET. All finishers receive an event medal, Wild Deer merchandise, a drink and a snack. An event T shirt is available to purchase for £12. Limited on site parking is available for £4.00.
