Hope Trail Festival : Newnham Park, Plymouth (10–12 July 2026)
Hope Trail Festival is a timed trail running event held at Newnham Park in Plymouth. Participants can enter 12 hour, 24 hour or 36 hour endurance races as a Solo, Pair or Team (teams of 3 to 8). The main loop is a marked trail of approximately five miles and the weekend also includes a timed kids race for runners up to age 16. Medals are awarded for completion and Bronze, Silver and Gold medals correspond to the 12, 24 and 36 hour events. Solo entrants who reach 100 miles receive a 100 mile buckle; pairs and teams that reach 100 miles receive a buckle to share as well as medals. Podium trophies are awarded by category.

Race facilities, rules and logistics
The route includes a checkpoint about 2 miles into the loop stocked with water, cola, Tailwind (Mandarin Orange) and snacks. The transition area also offers refreshments, and the race village has traders, food outlets and masseurs. Parking is off road and free; event photography is provided without charge. Camping is included for one accompanying adult plus children under 16 for each entry. Toilets and urinals are provided and serviced; there are drinking water taps but no showers or electric hook-ups. Dogs are allowed on leads with designated areas for canicross; organisers may require removal of animals that pose a safety risk. Mandatory kit must be carried at all times and a primary light is required for night running. A lap started before the designated race end may be completed and will count toward the final total.
