Hope Trail Festival
Hope Trail Festival is a timed trail endurance event held at Newnham Park in Plymouth PL7 5BN, on a private 1550 acre estate about 5 miles from Plymouth city centre. The event runs three timed formats: 12 hour, 24 hour and 36 hour, and offers solo, pair and team entries (teams of 3 to 8). Runners complete repeated laps of a clearly marked trail loop.

All participants who complete at least one lap receive a bespoke Hope Trail Festival medal. The 12 hour, 24 hour and 36 hour categories receive Bronze, Silver and Gold medals respectively. Podium trophies are awarded in multiple categories for solo, pairs and teams. Solo runners who reach 100 miles receive a 100 mile buckle and a medal; pairs and teams that reach 100 miles share a buckle and each receive a medal.
Facilities on site include free camping for participants with one accompanying adult and children under 16 included, free off road parking, toilets and drinking water taps. There is no electric hook up and no showers. A single checkpoint about 2 miles into the course is stocked with water, cola, Tailwind Mandarin Orange and snacks. The transition area also offers refreshments and on site vendors. Dogs are allowed on a lead and a canicross area is provided. Mandatory kit must be carried at all times and a primary light must be used during hours of darkness.
