The Dartmoor Summer Series Maprun 2025 at Whitchurch is the final event in a league of five technical orienteering races held on Dartmoor's open moorland. Designed for experienced orienteers, the courses navigate complex terrain featuring numerous pits, rocks, and outcrops. Participants use the MapRun 7 smartphone app to record their progress, eliminating the need for traditional flags. Three courses are offered: Orange (34.0 km, 95m climb), Blue (5.7 km, 140m climb), and Green (4.1 km, 100m climb), all requiring advanced navigation skills.
