Bristol Pretty Muddy 5k at The Downs

The event is a Pretty Muddy 5k obstacle course held on Saturday 20 June 2026 at The Downs, Stoke Road, Bristol, BS9 1FG. The course is primarily flat, mainly on grass around the outer perimeter of Durdham Downs and Clifton Downs, with mixed terrain and an overall ascent of 28 m. The start and finish are on grass adjacent to Ladies Mile and Stoke Road.

Participants climb, crawl and slide through a series of obstacles. The event is for people aged 13 and over. Minimum fundraising target is £50. Admission prices listed are Adults £22.49 and Children £12.00. After finishing, participants receive event items including a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign and a Race for Life medal.

Facilities on site include refreshments and toilets. The event is not suitable for wheelchair users; it is also not suitable for pushchairs. Dogs, bag drop and showers are not available. Sunflower wristbands are available at the enquiries marquee and a QR code on site will provide British Sign Language stage content.
